Recognition

There are three levels of recognition:

  • Award: An Award is given for projects that demonstrate the highest level of achievement within their category, in accordance with the judging criteria. Award winners receive a framed certificate and use of the Australian Interior Design Awards logo for printed and promotional materials (on request).
  • Commendation: A Commendation is given for projects that demonstrate high standards of achievement within their category, in accordance with the judging criteria. Award Commendations receive a certificate and use of the Australian Interior Design Awards logo for printed and promotional materials (on request).
  • Short listed entry: Approximately one third of entered projects are short listed in any given year.  The Short List is published prior to the Awards Announcement, generating publicity for as many entrants as possible. Short listed entries receive a certificate acknowledging their success.

There are significant media opportunities associated with entry including coverage in the official awards report to appear in ARTICHOKE magazine, which is distributed at the Awards Announcement function and to subscribers.
